Sometimes the broadband will not get connected and it says "phone line busy" or "server not responding" and it mostly happens at 2:00am to 8:00am which are free ours for 500c plan users.If it is happening to you then just switch on and switch off the power to your modem for 3 0r 4 times and if it still not getting connected then have a look at the modem.you will find power,dsl,internet,ethernet,usb lights on modem.Then after switching on the modem dial bb connection immediately when dsl light is glowing.Try this for 2 or three times.If this too not solved your problem then u must change your connection from ppp0e to bridge mode.This is explained on the top post in this blog.
